Theatre School Autumn Term
A challenging and fun term of intensive workshops in music, drama and dance, culminating in a performance at the end of the term.
You will be involved in producing and starring in a professional-quality theatre production. Uniquely, you will get a chance to develop skills in all aspects of performance, with intensive workshops in singing, drama and dance.
The course culminates in an evening performance on Sunday 17th December at the Salle des Fêtes in St Colomb de Lauzun.
Students will have the opportunity to encourage and inspire one another and work as a team, building confidence in a positive yet challenging environment.
All levels are welcome. Age 8 -16.
Paola Bottomley: Singing/Music
Paola is Head of Music and Performing Arts at The Old School and Professor of Pop and Jazz Voice at the Conservatoire of Bordeaux. She has extensive experience as a Vocal coach and Musical Director. She has a Masters degree from The Royal Academy of Music, London. Paola has a very impressive track record in teaching our students the GCSE Music syllabus and they have all achieved very high grades.
Sarita Cameron: Dance/Drama
Sarita Cameron is an experienced Dance teacher, teaching in many schools in the Lot et Garonne. She studied at The Royal Academy of Dance and has a degree in English and Theatre studies. Sarita successfully helped launch The Theatre School, creating stunning choreography and positive encouragement to experienced and novice dancers alike.
Royston Seedwell: Drama and Stage Management
Roy attended the Italia Conti Drama School, he was a member of the Heatham House Youth Drama Group. Roy has undertaken leading roles in Run for Your Wife, Half a Sixpence, The Matchgirls (written by Bill Owen first to perform prior to the West End debut). Roy then studied stage lighting and electrical engineering where he then focused on backstage and front of house preparation.

1/10, 15/10, 05/11, 19/11, 03/12, 17/12 10am till 1pm
Final showcase 17/12 evening
120 euros per child. Sibling discount half price for second child.
The Old School, St Colomb de Lauzun
8 - 16 years of age
Course will be mainly delivered in English, however all tutors speak French and welcome French students to put on a multilingual performance. Previous experience not essential but enthusiasm is a must!
